I want to read more poetry. I’ve never been into it much. Any recommendations?
I’m thinking older type things, because newer poetry makes me think minimalist or, like, Sylvia Plath, and I got enough of that when I was 15. However, if you have some newer faves, recommend by all means!

i was recently having thoughts along these lines, and was advised by a friend that older poetry informs newer poetry, so to start old and read towards the present.
that said, i like poets across the board. ugh, running out of reply space.
